We are currently in the process of starting a Lancaster University First Aid society to enable a St John’s LINKS (student volunteer) unit to open and run at Lancaster campus.

As a volunteer you will be fully first-aid trained by St John's Ambulance and it will give you vital experience if you're looking to move into the health sector. The first-aiders will be asked to volunteer their time at sporting and other events. This can be from the weekly BUCS sporting events, to welcome week events, to Roses. Under the LINKS system you can also be invited to volunteer for events such as Kendal calling, Manchester Pride, and other large scale events.

Students’ volunteers at Hull University will be volunteering at BBC One Big weekend this year, as an example of the diversity of event you could be asked to volunteer at.

Training is likely to commence the week before welcome week which starts on the 2nd of October, but is yet to be confirmed.

If you are interested in becoming a fully trained first-aider and volunteering your time to help others, then please do full out this form.
